Name: Linda "Lucky" Malone (Owner / Tattooist / Piercer)
History: Lucky Linda's Body Art in Downtown Shakopee, MN.
mother of three grown kids and a proud grandmother of two beautiful little girls.
"I left high school in 1969 at seventeen, and the world was in turmoil. I had no idea where or what I was doing with myself and had the frivolous idea of going to art but having no other plan went to beauty school. It seemed to kinda fit. In 1991 I was maneging a hair salon my mother owned. I had an interest in the application of permanent make-up. So I took a seminar and became licensed for cosmetic tattooing. Next thing I know I began tattooing designs on people in the back of the hair salon on a whim and out of a love of art. I was piercing in salons for 20 years prior to starting the tattoo shop (albeit with a piercing gun). I learned the errors of my ways and took on proper piercing with hollow needles.
Rollo was one of the best known tattoo artists there has been. He inherited Sailor Jerry's
shop (China Sea tattoo) in Honolulu, HI. Rollo tattooed there for thirty years until we married and Rollo moved to Minnesota. I married Mike 'Rollo Banks' Malone on April 18th, 1999. It was the very next day we officially open our co-owned shop, The Aloha Monkey. We had opened that shop so Rollo could focus upon his painting of tattoo designs. A few years later when we broke up we sold the monkey.

Name: Edsel G. Tattooer (AKA Al ) (Tattooer)
History: I started tattooing in about 1991 when my sister (Lucky Linda) had started tattooing out of the back room of the hair salon my mother owned in Shakopee Mn. She needed help she was getting swamped with tattoos and needed my help.
I was lucky enough to be able to work with Mike Malone and learned a ton about tattooing from him and fell in love with the craft of tattooing. Mike (Rollo) taught me how to paint flash, fix tattoo machines, and tattoo worth a damn. I couldn’t ask for a better mentor that Mike Or Linda for that matter.
Well 20 years have since pasted. I have worked in Rochester Minnesota at 2 different shops Rochester tattoo, Pat Brittan’s Shop, Infinity tattoo. And after my daughter was born I took a break from tattooing all together for a couple of years and worked in the corporate world all the time bemoaning the 6 am to 2 pm schedule of that life the shear madness of corporate leadership. And so I found my way back to tattooing. I bounced around to a few different shops and as luck would have it Lucky Linda needed my help once again. And that is how I landed here once again.
I pride myself on being right up front with anyone that comes in. This also means I do talk people out of tattoos as well. Yes, I say no to a lot.It is not really about making money it’s about doing the right thing. I like to feel the integrity in everything I do as well as how I do it is a virtue.
